Zdeněk Závodný studied at Favu in Brno in the departement of Video, Multimedia, and Performance. He currently works as a musician and curator. Závodný plays wind instruments, like the clarinette or flute, many of which he created himself. He has designed sound installations in which make use of techniques to convert of light to sound and sound to image, as well as the sound manipulation of electronic images. Závodný performs with the Prague Improvisation Orchestra, JazzKhonspiracy, Band of Wood and others. He is also the curator of the Jazz Goes to Town festival and Divadlo 29 in Pardubice.
