Judith Fleishman contributed several pieces: in addition to the Book of Hours installation, she conducted an intervention in the convent in the form of the floor text piece Spát/Sleep written in laundry detergent.

Together with Charlie Citron as photographer, she realized the performance Cleaning Her House in the Chapel. Also together with Charlie Citron, they made the photo session A Fall from Grace within the installation Josephine’s Yard and Garden.


Judith Fleshman is a visual artist, performer and writer who lives and works in New York City. In 2003, Abaton Book Company published her text/visual collaboration Looking for Maya. Her prose has been published by Tema Celeste, Rogue Magazine and the artist zine _The Orifice. _Fleishman’s work can be found in many private and public collections, such as The Museum of Modern Art, The NYC Public Library, the Gemente Museum Arnhem, Netherlands, and The Ludwig Museum in Cologne, Germany.
