Hidur and Svava are sisters living on the eastern coast of Iceland in a small town. Their entire existence is consumed by a small fish processing factory, and steeped in the rhythm of small-town life. One day, Svava suddenly goes to Reykjavík and Hildur finds herself becoming unexpectedly more introspective. Intimate, in a documentary style, this is a film of exceptional artistic qualities.
