This Spring’s Prague Critical Mass bike ride will feature bikes specially wired to make sound. Some of these bikes will be equipped with miniFM transmitters and am/fm tape players or CD players. The soundscape created by this bicycle manifestation will resound not only in the streets, but also locally on Prague’s radios.
Come to the Critical Mass bike ride with your little ghettoblaster with CD or cassette player, or am/fm transistor radio. Plant lovers be prepared to show off your best flora. By greening our bicycles we will bring about the feeling of a mobile botanical garden, enhanced by the sounds of domestic and exotic birds.
At our workshop, you can learn how to turn your bicycle into a tuned musical instrument. Come by bike and, with the help of our experts, you can easily and cheaply outfit your bicycles. The workshop is organized by Radio Lemurie, MLOK and hosts Komunikační prostor Školská 28 and takes place on Saturday, April 14, from 10 am to 4 pm.
