Microloops is a long-form project of live film projection and musical improvisation. In the center stand two prepared amplified Meopta OP16 projectors which serve as the starting point for a series of optical and mechanical manipulations, transforming the image on the way between the lens and the screen.
The sound portion of the presentation will be provided by sound engineer Lasonick and PD specialist Michal Cab.

Martin Blažíček is a Czech filmmaker and performer, and creator of a series of short films and videos. His film works include a variety of experimental techniques, such as direct painting and drawing, object manipulation, and chemical action on the surface of the film. Since 2003, he devotes himself to mostly live and site-specific performances that make use of live manipulations of the projected image.
