Visual artist, musician, and experimental filmmaker Matthew de Gennaro brings his work to Prague for the first time. The first part of the evening will be devoted to a sound-space installation using long piano wires, stretched and made to vibrate with the rosined palm of the hand. The second part presents some super 8 films – diaristic recordings of rural life, accompanied by reproduction experimental parlor music of the 19th-century United States.
