Originally from Canada, Don Sparling moved to the capital city of Moravia, Brno, in 1969. For many years he taught at Masaryk University and was heavily involved in Canadian Studies, in particular as Founding President of the Central European Assocation for Canadian Studies.
The lecture is part of an exhibition of work by Alena Foustková in Galerie kritiků, Jungmannova 31, Praha 1 entitled "Mumbo Jumbo", being held from March 24 to April 18, 2010.
