Nikola Ivanov is a student at FAMU in the department of photography. His project comes out of his personal experience at the site of the former Pragovka factory, where he currently has his studio. Photographs of the abandoned space of the factory became the theme of Ivanov’s book, a collection of photographs from which was drawn the images in this exhibition. Ivanov combines contemporary images with old reproductions from newspapers to bridge the displacement of time.
This exhibition is part of the festival Famufest Noir 2012.
