The work of Tereza Sochorová comprises sensitively created installations, drawings, texts, photographs and videos. She works in a social context, concerning herself with the problems surrounding fair trade. Sochorová’s main themes are moving/static images, light, the connection between images and text, the processes of information transmission, memory, the imagination, wandering, and play. She often collaborates with Filip Cenek.
In this retrospective, the artist presents her films, including the installations series Čtenářka (Reader), Spisovatelka (Writer), Vypravěčka (Story Teller) a Osvětlovačka (Elaborator), which thematize autobiographical elements relating to the text and the image.
