Miloš Vojtěchovský

Born 1955 in Prague. Lives in Prague. Graduated in Art History and Aesthetic at Charles University (1980). Since the early 80's he's been involved in independent music, visual art, action art, and curatorial work. He was the founder and only employee of Oko Production, an exhibition space in Amsterdam 1989-1992. He is the initiator, researcher, co-producer and co-author of the interactive educational project Orbis Pictus Revised commisioned for ZKM Karlsruhe by Imaginary Museum Project founded by Tjebbe van Tijen. Milos was the founder of Hermit - The Metamedia Center at the Plasy Monastery (1991), initiator of The Hermit Foundation (1991), and curator at The Collection of The Modern and Contemporary Art National Gallery Prague (1997-2000). From 2000 to 2004 he ran the broadcasting project Radio Jeleni, consequently co-founding Lemurie streaming project. He lectures about media art, contemporary art and communication studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Technical University Brno, at Center for Audiovisual Studies at FAMU and co-organises the course Intermedia creativity and technologies between AMU, ČVUT and AVU in Prague (Institute of Intermedia). In addition he worked at LABoratory at the Center for Contemporary Art in Prague (1998-2004). Published in Dutch, German, Belgian, English, and Czech magazines since 1992.
