This work was made from recordings made on a two level bridge in Riga, Latvia: a pedestrian walkway with regular traffic running few meters above. The composition consists of a stratification of six layers (of the same loop) with different treatments (frequency splitting, reverberations, EQ, etc.) This mix that was created for and played first at Školská 28 Gallery, and it has already been used for a live soundtrack played in Sardinia in January for the Werner Herzog documentary “Lektionen in Finsternis”, partially based on those Riga bridge recordings.
