This performance will present an electroacoustic free improvisation that meditates on recent directions in my performance practice. This practice includes manual and vocal sculpting of recorded sonic artifacts, with sources ranging from insects, analog and digital glitches, acoustic instruments, bowed and struck household objects, animals, and various others. These points of origin are stripped away as the material becomes a starting point for radical transformations - stretching, layering, re-combining, filtering, hacking - done freely in the moment of performance, responding to the instrumental machine, the room, the sound system, the audience. The result is an immersive experience ranging from quiet shifting textures to walls of pulsing drones.
