Monta Liepa studies Entertainment management and production at Latvian Alberta College in Riga. Previously, she studied journalism. Her bachelor work compared the article „culture” of different newspapers in Latvia. The study was not only to compare the principles of making publications, but also to explore how the content differences in publications in the Latvian and Russian languages affect the information space in Latvia.

Although Liepa's main interest so far has been in Latvian cultural and art activities, with this internship she aims to broaden her experience in an international context.

Liepa is member of a non-commercial organization and the student newspaper. She was also a member of the student radio “Runā skaļāk” (Riga Stradiņš University), and has also trained in journalism, photojournalism, public relations, event managing, and other disciplines.
