From 1994 Petra is working together with Mario van Horrik as an artistic duo. The starting point for their artistic work is the statement, that movement and sound are identical: without vibration nothing can be heard. This idea is worked out by them in different forms: installations, works in progress on location, performances, concerts, etc. Because of the temporary character of sound and movement, their works, have been presented during a limited period of time, there are no objects for sale. Besides using the media movement, sound and image, they also have an interest in using new media and technology, that are often developed especially for their particular projects.
