Anja Kaufmann
Electronic musician and artist Anja Kaufmann was born in Basel, Switzerland in 1974. She moved to Prague, Czech Republic in 2007. Her works find their expressions within audio installations, compositions and live plays. They investigate such notions as science phenomena, social studies and interdiscipline information architecture. Anja studied new media at Hyperwerk in Basel (2000-2003), which let her combine the interests in art and science. Diverse exhibitions and concerts in Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Netherlands, France. Since 2007 she contributes to the radio art format "So21" of Radio Lora in Zürich, Switzerland. She is co-director of the ECHOFLUXX Festival and curator of the gallery Puppenklinik in Prague.
