The project “The Sense of Touch” by the Polish artist Ewa Justka deals with the interconnection of human senses through an exploration of acoustic objects, the integration of acoustic and electronic instruments and experiments with light.
It will be possible to meet the artist and see her projects in progress during an Open Studio, daily from 5 to 8 PM. You can check the set of simple audio electronic tools which the author created during her residency and their technical documentation in the gallery.

Ewa Justka is a electronic artist from Poland, currently living in London, where she studies Sound Arts and Design at the London College of Communication. Justka’s main areas of the interest are the materiality of sound created by various inanimate and animate objects (human bodies, plant parts, electronic circuits, minerals) and the sound systems built from them. Her art work explores the physicality of those objects by creating instantaneous interactions. She also performes noise music, creates interactive sound installations, and also does hardware hacking.
