Stanislav Abrahám
Stanislav Abrahám (b. 1977), lives and works in Prague. He did Audiovisual studies at FAMU Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
As a sound designer, Abrahám works in collaborative projects in the field of theater and dance production, while as an independent artist he has created installations in galleries, radio-art compositions for Czech Radio and conceptual works using sound for public spaces.
The ephemerality of the audio medium displays his personal sense of humor, both in performance and working with found objects and concepts in his installations. His main interests are telecommunications, field recording, and the phenomenon of "the disembodied voice". Professionally, he devotes himself to studio production work, recording and the post-production of audiovisual works.
