Christine Abdelnour

A solo cooncert of Christine Abdelnour who hails from France and is of Lebanese origin. She has developed a unique personal language on the alto saxophone, producing acoustic sounds that resemble those of electroacoustic music. Abdelnour is involved in international projects with Ryan Kernoa, Andy Moor, Magda Mayas, Pascal Battus, Andrea Neumann, Bonnie Jones, David Stackenas, Raymond Strid, Patrick Thormann, Sven-Ake Johansson, and many more. She has released more than 10 CDs and has collaborated with artists in the visual arts, dance, theatre, literature, and poetry, working with noise, electronica, contemporary rock, and free jazz.
