Dunn, Lloyd

Lloyd Dunn is an American multimedia artist and publisher. He was the editor and publisher of PhotoStatic, a zine devoted to art created for the Xerox machine. In 1987, he and John Heck and Ralph Johnson co-founded the Tape-beatles, a multimedia group that began by manipulating sound with analogue tape recorders and later expanded to employ collage techniques to digital technology and film media. Currently, Dunn is responsible for the filecast project nula.cc, which he began in 2009. Each filecast is an assemblage of sounds, images, or words, available for free download and further manipulation. Dunn currently lives in Prague.
