Kundlák, Marek
Marek Kundlák is a theatre practitioner, musician, and author. He is the co-founder of the theatre group The Third Hand Theatre Company, which performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2007 and 2008. From 2009 to 2015 he was the project manager of Slovak National Theatre Opera. He studied music and drama at the Bratislava Conservatory and theatre dramaturgy at the Academy of Performing Arts Bratislava. He has authored works of poetry, theatre texts, librettos for operas, concert pieces, and songs. He is also an active theatre dramaturg, director and performer of contemporary author's chamber operas (A Tooth for a Tooth, The Magical Massage Bar for Public Officers, Appetizer, An Eye for an Eye). He collaborates with Radio Devín and with the orchestra Composition Laboratory. At the Slovak National Theatre he also worked as an assistant director in numerous European production teams.
