The contextual text piece for the ambitus of the convent was written on the floor with turf dust. It was a message or appeal to the recent history of the area of western Bohemia and a gesture towards the relationships between the Czech and German populations of Czechoslovakia during and after the Second World War. This work had a specific charge, as the family of the artist came from the Sudetenland. “We are working here together again, and in this way we are able to keep the memory and to hope for a new epoch to come.”
