In Plasy, the author made a massive trunk from oak wood and combined it with an iron ring, connecting the two materials to create a new unity.

Balduin Romberg (born 1938) is German sculptor who was born in Cosefeld. Between 1954-57 he studied sculpture at the Werkkunstschule in Münster and entered the art scene in 1962. He creates abstract objects and often works with wood or iron.
