Meridian Crossing, Plasy Monastery 1995

The installation was conceived on the idea of not disturbing the architecture and the aesthetic of the monastery. In concerns contact with the past and contact with the surface of the water, the most fragile element of the entire building.

I created a separate water cycle based on the balancing and circulation of water. The system´s movement is transmitted by the cable and weight below on the water´s mirror-like surface, creating gentle waves upon it.”
