Screening

Eutopie

Fri 27.3. - 20:00

Eutopia is an improvised video performance creating new architectural structures based on images from Prague and London. The theme is architecture and movement, and the way in which architecture shapes movement in urban structures, together with its ever-changing visuals. The latest composition is put togetehr from a series of isolated image fragments of the city environment, creating a new integrated space by means of a video composition (Eutopia = in translation "joyous place"). The performance takes place in two simultaneous presentations in Prague and London, put together in one image and simultaneously projected in both places.

The performers work using the online streaming software Keyworx, which allows them to use the projection field as a screen on which unique sequences and and video loops and simultaneously assemble them from two distant locations.
