Daniel Šperl is one of the outstanding figures in Czech photography. His work, in which one of the themes is the everyday life of ordinary people, represents an extraordinary sensitivity to general human worth and the exceptional graphic form accentuates symbols and metaphors. The present exhibition presents a collection of black and white documentary photographs from the United States, which were made beginning in 1998, and loosely connected to his earlier projects of life in Japan, France, and Bohemia.
