Bryan Eubanks (b. 1977, US) is a musician primarily active within the traditions of experimental and live electronic music. Growing up in the desert region of eastern Washington State, he was trained in photography before becoming musically active in Portland, Oregon in the late 1990's. There he formed the record label Rasbliutto with Jean Paul Jenkins and Joseph Foster in 2001 (operating until 2011). He was an active musician and organizer in New York City from 2005 to 2013, and is currently living in Berlin, Germany. He has no formal musical training and is, for the most part, an autodidact, although he received an MFA in 2012. He works with the soprano saxophone, electronics of his own design, and computer music. He improvises, composes, and is developing sound installations exploring acoustic holography.
Mainly active as an improvising laptop player, Xavier Lopez is based in Paris since 2006. He has developed an autodidact approach to laptop playing, with attention to the minimal and synthetic: sine waves, white noise, feedback, oscillators. His work as a sound artist is inspired by a broad range of aesthetics as well as other issues (perception, surroundings, survival, theory). During the last couple of years he has performed in Europe, Mexico and in the United States. He performs in various duos: “Axolotl” with Dafne Vicente-Sandoval (amplified bassoon), “Rojo” with Miguel A.Garcia (aka “xedh” raw electronic) and “sinn.osc” with Juan Matos Capote (home made oscillators , modified radios). He crossed paths with many improvisers / sound artists, including: Bertrand Gauguet, Bonnie Jones, Ferran Fages, Chris Cogburn, Jassem Hindi … He organizes the concert series “trashvortex” in Paris since April 2010.
Fuck It Duet is a debut album of k!amm/Pelikán duo. Later it was used as a band name and it also explaines the reasons and circumstances of the band’s formation. Fuck It Duet emerged at the show of noise/free impro group Ruinu when the third stable member Ondřej Parus didn’t appear.
k!amm is the founder od KLaNGundKRaCH and Blood in the Boat Records. He plays on mostly electronic devices in Ruinu, No Pavarotti, Rouilleux, Mooncup Accident and fluctuating K&K Kollektiv. He puts on experimental music series A2+ and KontrA2punkt festival.
Patrik Pelikan is a musician focusing on woodwind instruments (alto saxophone, soprano saxophone and clarinet), electronics and lap steel guitar. Besides Fuck It Duet and Ruinu involved in Prague Improvisation Orchestra, Žužu (with Romano Krzych) and 2 Horses Too Many (with Petr Vrba). On KLaNGundKRaCH label he released two solo records, both on cassettes: Hortus Conclusus in 2012 (split with Ruinu) and Drift (2013).
