Neumann, Andrea

Andrea Neumann has been active primarily as a musician and composer in the fields of New Music and experimental music since 1994 and has co-organized “Labor Sonor,” a series for experimental music, film, and performance in Berlin, since 2000. Neumann has engaged in intensive explorations at the border between composition and improvisation and between electronic and hand-made music with ensembles like Les Femmes Savantes and Phosphor. She co-edited the 2011 book Echtzeitmusik Berlin – Self-Defining a Scene, published in 2011 by Wolke-Verlag.
