Siewert, Martin
Viennese resident Martin Siewert plays guitar, lap and pedal steel, and electronics. He is also well known for his mastering abilities with Motone Sound Services. His projects include bands like Trapist, Radian, and (Fake) the Facts, and he has produced work for theatre, film, and dance as well as various remix and soundinstallation commissions. Siewert has performed with many artists, including Otomo Yoshihide, Taku Sugimoto, Oren Ambarchi, Wayne Horvitz, Tony Buck, Toshimaru Nakamura, Elliott Sharp, Thomas Lehn, Burkhard Stangl, Ken Vandermark, Klangforum Wien, Werner Dafeldecker, Christian Fennesz, Roger Turner, Steve Noble, Sainkho Namtchylak, Uchihashi Kazuhisa, Kevin Drumm, Paul Lovens, Philip Jeck, Bernhard Lang, and Gustav Deutsch.
