The Peeled Eye

The Peeled Eye is the noisecore/doomjazz quartet of longtime musical collaborators Boris Hauf (baritone saxophone), Steve Heather (drums), Martin Siewert (guitar), and Christian Weber (electric bass), dating back to the mid-1990s. Spontaneous, impulsive, and eruptive, the combo’s dynamics shift fluidly, and the complementarity of their contrasts is far too effective to be the product of chance. They construct thick and noisy musical pieces to make strong, convincing statements.
