Blahoslav Rozbořil - a sociologist, author of phonolinorites, artist and physiophonographist, performer and gramoline engraver, was born in 1959 in Brno. From 1976 to 1980 he studied print and promotional graphics at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Brno, from 1990 to 1995 sociology at Masaryk University in Brno. Since 1987, he has been producing turntables that he creates as linocut matrices. These phonolytes are then played on a self-designed physiophonograph. He often cooperated with Josef Daňek in the framework of their activities of the so-called Non-utilitarian School, which they developed together in the second half of the 1980s to react against the approaching age of a " pragmatic" reform of Czech society. The purpose of the subversive educational system is to shape an "useless person", who would not fitting be corrupted in the wheels of a pragmatic social order.
