Tomáš Hlavina (born 1966) graduated from the Prague Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, specifically from Milan Knížák's studio. He is a prominent personality of the 1990s generation - a distinctive solitaire whose work lies outside of the mainstream determining the creative trends of his generational peers. He devotes himself exclusively to the creation of objects or sculptures which are characterized by their purity and precision. He applies common materials, often combined with simple items. The result is refinement and a hidden element of nobility.
