Gadbois is a master of goblet drum technique, which he combines with foot percussion, which has brought him interesting collaborations with many different artists (Yoko Ono, Patti Smith, Meredith Monk, Susan Deyhim, Gabrielle Roth, the Khan family) and dance companies all over the world.

Gadbois designs and hand-carves his own instruments. In the Czech Republic, he collaborates with Pavel Fajt, Vladimír Václavek, Shahab Tolouie and Rena Milgrom.
