Pasi Mäkelä is a Finnish conceptual artist, performer, choreographer and musician, partially based in Prague.

Mäkelä’s performances are largely based on Butoh, the Japanese avant-garde dance that emerged in the early sixties, distinctive for its extremely physical approach to the experience of dance. He has developed a Finnish version of Butoh.

Over recent years, Mäkelä has actively participated in various performances and musical projects in Finland, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Austria.
