The first edition of the touring festival HearMe! organized by the promoters association „Old Net for New Music“ in cooperation with HIS voice magazine.
This year‘s topic is „sounding space“, specifically the sounding space of one of the oldest churches in Prague, the church of St. John the Baptist (Říční 6). Ten experienced improvisors (among others Burkhard Stangl, Xavier Charles, Angelica Casteló) will reflect the unique acoustics of the church during the Sunday afternoon and evening. They’ll be accompanied by performance „Psychokinesis“ created by Jakub Hybler and Miloš Vojtěchovský in cooperation with Matthew Goodheart. This festival creates a sonic countrepoint to the headphones festival Meziuchy which is held in Školská 28 Gallery the day before.
