The cultural space and gallery café Praha was founded in 2004 by the association 4AM Forum for Architecture and Media, in cooperation with the Moravian Gallery in Brno. For a long time, 4AM have been oriented towards the themes of architecture, urbanism, city space, contemporary art and new media. They organize discussions, international workshops, lectures, and exhibitions which have gradually become anchored in the courtyard of the Moravian Gallery’s Pražák Palace. The dramaturgy of the space of Praha v Brně focuses on artistic interventions, happenings, audiovisual projections or symposia. They organize concerts of electronic, improvised and contemporary classical music, dance improvisation, or screenings of authorial and experimental video. They also feature a library full of expert publications and journals dealing with contemporary architecture, design, and art.
