Prague premiere of biographical documentary on Tony Conrad takes place 9 February, 2017 at 8 PM at the Bio Ponrepo. The screening includes the vs. Interpretation 2016 Festival documentary by Dominik Žižka and a short performance by Prague Improvisation Orchestra as an homage to Tony Conrad.

Yury Bulka is an artist and musician. He was formally educated as a clarinetist and musicologist in National Academy of Music in Lviv. He soon switched to electronic music, technology and programming, whose intersection with art is important in his work and research.

Anton Marušarz (Tono), Radim Labuda and I are sitting in a small narrow space, tucked away in the back of Punctum, an “open creative space” discreetly located in Prague’s Žižkov. In the main room, the original locksmith shop, the evening’s event, “Gaučing,” is gaining momentum.

Tonic Train is the experimental electronics duo of Sarah Washington and Knut Aufermann. The combination of Sarah’s homemade, circuit bent instruments and Knut’s feedback electronics creates a spectrum of fundamental electronic noises.

Frank Lovece, Michael Buckley, Marcus Bergner with guest performer Myriam Van Imschoot The Prague premiere of the new performance project by the post-Australian sound poetry group Arf Arf. With a screening of the film Arf Arf.

The Stranger Gets a Gift Project, a series of performances for audiences of one devised by Cristina Maldonado, will receive the support of the Agosto Foundation through the end of the year.

The ArtMap Bookstore, supported by the Agosto Foundation, had its official opening in Prague.
